Rachel likes to play the "baseball bat" game. As confusing as this may be, the game doesn't actually involve a bat. The essential pieces of equipment are a ball and a "baseball hat". Then we basically play catch. She has also been very excited about names and knows that her's is "Rachel Lee." Justin and I are "Daddy and Mommy Lee." She has also named quite a few of her stuffed animals. These names include: "Care Bear Luck, purple Care Bear, Lion Lee, and Mr. Tiger." These animals are becoming spectators to reading books, playing the piano, and putting together puzzles.
Other than playing with Rachel, this week was pretty exciting with the elections. Minnesota is considered a purple state and many of the elections were extremely close. Voting was made easier by the fact that Rachel slept on my shoulder through voter registration. We're excited about the presidential elections in a couple years, because it's fun to be in place where your vote actually matters (and no, I'm not just talking about voting Democrat).
