This week has been busy for Justin with finals and he still has three tests to take before this Thursday. Oh, the joys of law school! But, the rest of us have been busy with Christmas preparations and Ian starting to make a lot of messes. He loves to make raspberries with his lips right when we put food in his mouth, so this is a picture of peas covering his face after a feeding.
And he's started finger foods! It makes him seem a lot older that he can get some food (and almost his whole fist) into his mouth by himself. He'll be 7 months tomorrow!
Here's Ian with some of the other cute baby boys that we're friends with. Last year we had a playgroup and everyone of the families had a baby boy this year (we're missing one boy in this picture). Cute kids!
And, when we were taking a picture of Ian, Rachel insisted she should pose for the camera too. This is what we got! This week, our video is showcasing some of Rachel's favorite jokes. Most of which are out of the church magazine for kids, The Friend. It's kind of soft, so turn up your speakers (sorry that Bridget will be blaring) and if you need a translation for Rachel's comedy, check out the comments link.
And, a little disclaimer for this year: we're simplifying a few things to save our sanity and aren't going to be sending out Christmas cards. But, we hope that everyone is enjoying the Christmas season and always love hearing from each one of you!

Joke translation (there's some commentary added in the middle of the comedy):
What does a shark eat for lunch?
peanut butter and jellyfish
Where does a sheep get a haircut?
from the baa baa shop
What do you call a hippo in a hammock?
a heavy sleeper
Why doesn't the dalmation want to take a bath in the sink?
He doesn't want to be spotless.
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Boo who. (Yeah, she likes to skip a part)
Don't cry, it's only a joke.
We definitely need to start getting the Friend! Parker would love those jokes!!
And that picture of Rachel is so cute! So photogenic!
Blowing raspberries - Jeremy taught Tori that one w/o letting me know and I got more food on me than she did on herself when she would do that! The joy of motherhood.
