We had a great winter break with lots of friends and fun events. Some of the things that we don't have pictures for were Rachel's first "late night" movie with a lot of friends (she was home by 9:30), Rachel and Ian's first sleepover at Brady and Kassia's (after returning Ian randomly declared, "BEST SLEEPOVER EVER!"), and a New Year's breakfast with the very fun Moores and Farrers. But the events we do have pictures for are random to say the least.
One day Rachel had some friends over and they had a fashion show. Here they are showing off their "famous" moves. We're not sure what constitutes a famous move, but these girls insisted they were doing them.

The
Kjars came and visited us for a little while and we had a great time catching up and seeing their cute new baby.

We made a huge pillow/blanket pile one day for reading some books and the girls decided to cuddle up.

Rachel loves doing art projects and drawing just about everything. Nana got her a fabulous Monet book for Christmas and it inspired this painting/drawing from our girl. It is a sunset over a flowery field.

And now there is really little explanation for the following pictures other than our family might be certifiable. As mentioned before we got a little obsessed with the dancing game and so we decided to have a dancing theme for New Years. And then we made the possible
mortifying decision of dressing up to dance. These specialities were the result. Brady and Kassia took it to the next level with some customized shirts. We were impressed...and inspired for next year.

Look at these
rockin' kids. Rachel was pretty much straight out of an 80's workout video.

And then we topped off the night with our annual running through the snow barefoot. Rachel insisted on participating and she was so tough! Here is a very proud little girl.

Cute Josie confiscated one of Bridget's necklaces.

It is a good thing she is so adorable because this little one is giving us a run for our money these days.

Ian started off the new year with a big change this year of staring Primary at church. Here is one excited boy after a great first day.

Great photos. I missed my chance to write 1-1-11 on the day, but best wishes for an incredible 2011.
