We have had many exciting events these past couple of weeks, but the biggest change happened today with Ian heading off to preschool. Here are some of the other things we've been up to in the meantime.
We had a fun get together because the Jenkins were in town and it was so great to catch up with these great families (Coopers, Willoughbys, and Jenkins). This is really worth blowing up to see Ian's facial expression.

Look at all of these cute kids!

Bridget, Kathy,
Shalee, and Cassi.

Justin has been busy, busy, busy with Anything Goes at the
Centerpoint Theater. We were able to take Brady and Kassia with us to the preview night and really enjoyed the show.

To celebrate opening night Justin decided to partake in a pancake eating contest and the "winners" both got up to eight pancakes. You can tell they felt pretty great about their accomplishment.

We headed up to the
Heber Valley Sheep Herding Festival and had a fun day. The kids had a list of things they had to find/count before they received a bracelet prize. Ian was our taskmaster and when we finished he said, "great guys! Now we can have some fun!"

He did take a little break to practice his milking skills.

Josie got some licorice for her troubles.

Here is everyone with Grandma and Grandpa before the K-9 demonstration began.

Everyone was very excited about the tortoise and Josie even told him "I love you" when we were leaving.

To top off a busy day Rachel and Josie dressed up like the "
dorko clowns of awesomeness." They have a bright future.

We then headed over to the Rec Center to cheer Brady and Kassia on for their
triathlon. Rachel rang her bell for her sprinting uncle.

Go Kassia!

They even look cute just after they've finished a race.
Ahhh!

Ian had his preview day for preschool where Bridget and Josie tagged along to get instructions for the year. He was SO excited to be going to school and it was only slightly damped by the realization that we weren't dropping him off.

Thumbs up for preschool!

Inside his classroom checking out the giant bear.

Today the big event happened. We dropped our big boy off for his first real day. He was thrilled and had a great experience and left us with an, "adios Mom!" He is such a sweetie and Josie and Bridget missed him so much. He is really growing up so fast and we know that he is going to have a great year.

I cannot believe that Ian is already going to preschool!
So, was Justin in the production of Anything Goes? Or just helping with it? I somehow missed the memo or something. But if he was in it that is super cool, because that was the musical we did my senior year of high school!
And I always love the outfits your kids come up with! They are so creative.
He looks huge, even next to that giant bear.
