It's Christmas Time

We have had a lot of fun this December and we were able to go to one of our favorites - gymnastics at the U. Look at Rachel showing off her "U" skills.
She was SO excited and even made her own Utah poster. It was very cute.

Josie did way better than the others have at this age and loved the dancing. We tried to capture one of her moves, but to no avail.
One snow day Ian went out in this outfit because he refused to wear pants or a real coat. He is cold and crazy. Check out his awesome cross-eyes.
Rachel is initiating Josie into the fine art of Grandpa torture. Our little one is happy to learn from the master.
Ian planned quite the tea party one day for Payton and Rachel. He luckily let Josie tag along also.
This one is officially out of her crib. One day Bridget came into her straddling the bar and pretending to ride a horse and we decided to forgo a broken limb and get her into a toddler bed. This is a picture of her in her favorite animal basket next to her new bed.
We've tried to get creative during the cold and one day Rachel was an alien for astronauts Josie and Ian. (The wetsuit is Ian's favorite astronaut/explorer/spy costume.)
There have been many, many rounds of hide the Donkey Kong. Justin struck gold when he put it inside our Christmas tree star.
Bridget and Justin joined Kassia and Brady for a great night at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. Singer Nathan Gunn and Jane Seymore were the guests.
Josie, Josie, Josie. Remember said toddler bed? That has turned "nap time" into "major destruction time". This particular day she took the shelves and books off the bookshelves and emptied the dresser.
Oh my.
Ian's preschool program was adorable this year and here is Ian with his class and teacher, Miss Cynthia. He had a speaking part before Rudolph and Bridget's favorite was this cute licorice song.

Christmas excitement continued to grow as Rachel got to wear her pajamas to the last day before the break. She had such a fun day!
Ian makes Rachel dance with him like they're "married". Supposedly only married people can dance together - he is a funny kid.
Ian had a HUGE Christmas list this year (which turned into his self-made "catalog" which was a poster board collage of everything he wanted). With a little convincing we helped him ask Santa for a "surprise".
And Santa wrote back! Ian was so excited to get a response and we're looking forward to the big visit (we're opening presents tomorrow so we can be lazy all day.) We hope everyone has a great Christmas!
