We can't believe that Ian is 5! We had a fun week celebrating and Josie wanted to make sure not all the pictures were of the birthday boy.
Ian had a great time celebrating at preschool and brought otter pops as his birthday treat.
We headed to the chalk art festival and enjoyed some friend's company along with the art.
Ian was SO excited about this one!
Here's a picture of the lucky boy's birthday loot.
We played some fun games (Ian and Payton won the race by breaking out of their three-legged-race bandanna.
He got some great presents and has been loving things ever since. Thank you!
A wonderful Pikachu cake by Grandma.
And one happy boy!
Some facts about Ian at this age:
His favorite foods are pepperoni pizza, bread sticks, broccoli, cucumbers, pears, and anything with sugar.
His loves the Kung Fu Panda movies.
His favorite books are the Pokemon and other cartoonish books from the library.
He "doesn't like church songs" but his favorite other songs are from Vampire Weekend (very upbeat fun songs).
He loves saying our phone number and is great at his alphabet and numbers.
He continues to be very independent and knows just how he wants things.
He loves anything with superheros, ninjas, or pretty much anything boyish.
He loves to jump on the trampoline, can pump himself on the swings, and is a fast biker and runner.
It is so funny when he gets laughing hard and he has a great smile when he's happy.
He tries to do kind things for others and is always trying to give us his extra stuffed animals or little pictures.
He is very talkative to people who walk by our home and is always striking up conversation with grocery checkers or other people around town.
He is a great kid and we're so glad he's a part of our family!
