Mother's Day

Mother's Day this year ended up being kind of busy, but really nice.
Ian made this super sweet present at school.  Bridget loved all of the hearts (with an "M" and "I") on the front and that she got some cosmos seeds which will remind her of her Mom's garden when she was growing up.

On Saturday Bridget had two teas to attend (hard life, we know).  First Suzy invited her to the Rose Tea in Ogden that was raising funds for a domestic violence shelter.  It was fun to meet some people she works with.  Then we got Rachel for a tea party at the Whitaker Museum.
Bridget was in and out playing music, but it was a really nice event and Rachel was a good sport to try lots of mini sandwiches and desserts.
We even got to see some of our best friends, the Jeppesens there.  Jane played some beautiful harp music.

Oh my, we miss seeing these girls every day (we used to carpool with them).
Rachel made this unique present at school.  It is a paper heart with seeds mixed in so we could plant the whole thing.  We're hoping the flowers grow in the shape of the heart.  On Sunday Bridget was spoiled with sleeping in and breakfast in bed.  Everyone was so sweet and it was a fun day.
