Penny Reunion

The Pennys came to Centerville for a family reunion and we had a lot of fun being together.  The kids loved Brian and Sandy and it was great for them to get to know each other.
The first day we headed up to Timpanogos Caves on a very hot day.  Bridget was subsequently fired as activity coordinator, but it was a spectacular hike.

Josie walked almost the whole way up and the other kids were troopers.  Andy, however, wanted nothing to do with the caves and so he and Bridget got to hang out in the shade back at the bottom of the mountain.
Ian loves himself some traditions and so even after a hot day hiking he insisted on being in the bike parade. He threw a flag on the bike and "paraded" (aka raced) through this tradition.
Brian was so sweet to play lots of games with our big boy.  Ian was very excited to learn Go from Brian.
And Sandy spoiled everyone with fun art projects.
Bridget laid on the floor and did nothing.
Well, maybe looked at some cute kids.
We headed to the 4th of July parade and the kids were excited to be at the festivities with their friends.

We had some rainy weather to cool of the temperatures.
We went on a little walk around the Migratory Bird Refuge.

Andy had shots and was kind of fussy during the visit.  At 7 months his stats were 16 lbs 11 oz (15%), 26 1/2" (25%), and 44 cm head (37%).  He warmed right up to Brian though!  It was a really fun visit and we are grateful everyone came to visit here since we're still too lazy to travel very far with 4 kids.  Thanks everyone!
