Spring Happenings

This boy LOVES being outside.  Even so much that he is sad we're taking him inside when he fell and gave himself a bloody lip.  He is constantly getting his shoes to bring to Bridget and Justin and pointing outside and signing "dog" in hopes we'll take him out.
For Activity Days there have been some fun evenings.  Here the girls learned a little about Japanese calligraphy.

And they got to make their own terrariums.
Bridget was released from being a leader to teach Gospel Doctrines (yikes!) and she sure will miss being with Rachel and these other cute girls.
Miss Josie did a little salon for some of her animals (barrettes and elastics on her favorites).
Warmer weather has meant a lot more work in the yard.  We filled up this dump truck with the rest of our junk pile and are finally down to getting actual flower beds in shape.
Ian and Josie are so funny together and this afternoon they were playing "office" where they were investors for people who had new inventions (aka Bridget visiting their offices).
 Josie's was quite organized!
Rachel did a great job at AIM and Federation this year.  Here she is at her ending recital where she played Buffalo Stampede.  She received a Superior from Federation and passed level II on AIM.  Mrs. Moon is a fantastic teacher.  Here is her performance.
It was warm enough and the kids ate outside and played Uno for lunch.
For Health week they had Hawaiin shirt day and Rachel wore one of Justin's shirts.
 Mustache day!

Josie was excited about rag curls one night before Sunday.

And she stole Bridget's shoes after church.
Rachel did her first speaking report on Nellie Bly.  She did a great job with her passport, bag, and monkey as some props.  Here she is practicing for us.
They did terrifying face paint on each other one day (bunny, Easter egg, chick).
It is Bridget's goal to document Andy's saddest face ever.  He gets the saddest lower lip before he start to cry.
However, when the camera is pulled out he can manage a smile every time.
April Fools was a little low key because of some fevers, but Ian still pulled out "Rachel loves BYU" signs.
 Josie has some delightful outfits.
Andy loves his Rachel and was dancing with her one day.

The kids stuck Andy's baby hat on him and thought he looked super ridiculous.
 Rachel's disturbing photography of Ian.
 Josie looked pretty crazy too.
 And Ian took the cake!
The girls had a sleepover one night in Josie's room.
We had a great General Conference weekend.  Josie asked for "rainbow hair".
We made delicious cinnamon rolls and then blueberry lemon rolls.
And Ian was a super tough secret agent.
Rachel and Bridget headed to the first Women's session where 8 year olds and up were invited.  It was a great meeting and so fun to be together.
Bridget and Justin went away for a couple of days to Midway while Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids.  This was the only documentation, but we enjoyed delicious food a great room at the beautiful Invited Inn and a play at Desert Star to see Justin's friend in Provo Cop.
