We had such a fun 4th of July this year. The kids loved pretty much all of it!
We had some heavy rain and wind about an hour before the parade and then the skies cleared just in time. It was nice because it wasn't as hot as usual. These guys did a great job on their bikes. The parade the next morning was really fun and as usual they scrambled for tons of candy. The highlight was when our friend, Peter Jeppesen dumped a whole box of candy by these kids and his sisters. He was a superstar for sure!
Our neighborhood goes all out for the 4th. The Petersons host a "little" carnival with the big event being a huge candy cannon explosion!
Here all the kids are getting ready for the cannon. Check out this crazy explosion!
Sarah and Josie made some time in the afternoon to get together matching bags.
With a little help from these big girls.
Cherries were enjoyed by all - yikes!
Crazy Josie!
Andy made some time for cupboard sitting.
We ended the evening enjoying some great fireworks and fun sparklers.
Harry Potter!
We hope that everyone had a great 4th!
