School is back in session and life is falling into more of a predictable routine. Before we went back we had a few more fun things to add to the end of a great summer:
The Primary through a great party and let the kids enjoy this giant slip and slide.
We headed over to the County Fair to support Rachel's friends (Hannah, Elizabeth, and Brynn) who were showing their goats. Elizabeth won 2nd place!
We spent lots of time at the park. This dare devil insists on going down the slides sitting down instead of backwards on his stomach. Yikes!
These cuties were pretending to be silly monkeys.
We had fun playdates. Eliza did a great job painting Rachel's face one day.
So much time was spent in the circle playing with neighbors. Here was an "umbrella fort" they made one day it was sprinkling.
This girl worked hard and was able to save up 1/3 of the cost of this bike. She loves it and is riding to school with Ian and another neighbor.
Rachel had the fun opportunity of being asked to sing a song with 3 other girls in Sacrament Meeting. Here she is after the walk home with Josie. She did such a great job and had a little solo also. They sang, "If the Savior Stood Beside Me." She is getting so grown up and has a beautiful little voice.
We moved some railway ties and the kids were delighted to find the tunnels of a mouse who has been nibbling at our garden.
The mouse - yuck!!
Justin was disturbing.
Andy loves to play in the cupboards and Nana documented the cuteness.
Grandad learned how to make towel monkeys on his cruise and showed us his skills.

The kids were playing "cowboys" and here were some of the
ferocious crew.
They they did "shops". Here was the beauty salon.
The pet store.
And the craft store.
Andy rocked the old Chinese vest that used to be Uncle Brian's. It has been a fantastic summer!
