"Normal" November

November has been good with just the normal craziness going on.  Andy insisted on a sweet hairdo.
Justin felt a little picked on when his favorite tree at the park where he reads under at lunch was the only one that lost its leaves.
We hosted a neighborhood get together ("walkabout") and had a great turnout at the first one our neighborhood has done in the fall.  It was chilly but about 80 people still showed up and it was a lot of fun.

Rachel finished up a fun softball season.
Rachel has loved being a library assistant this year and one of the perks was she got to dress up like Clifford the Big Read Dog for the Book Fair.  She was delighted and quickly realized how hot those suits are.  Cross another career off the list.
Bridget had to head downtown for work and so her and Andy made a date of it and watch the fountains and then rode on TRAX.  He was in heaven!
 Josie was hoping for snow.
Rachel froze a fake bug in the ice and almost gave Bridget a heart attack.
Rachel found one of Grandma's old sweaters and has joyfully adopted it.
Rachel's grade had the opportunity to go to Junior Achievement City at Discovery Gateway.  It was incredible!  The kids learned about personal and business banking, marketing, working, and customer service.

Our girl was a file clerk at First Security (one of the jobs she applied and interviewed for) and she was a busy bee during the day.
 At her desk!
She did this cute family picture for our wall.
Bridget went with Brady, Kassia, and Pati and hiked Frary Peak on Antelope Island.  It was a great way to enjoy the beautiful fall we have been having.
