We had the most fun 4th of July this year! We hosted a neighborhood BBQ with the Hunsakers next door and had a great time getting to know our neighbors and having guests for the best seat in the city for fireworks - our backyard!

These brothers had a blast playing night games with friends until the fireworks started.

The next morning we were off to the parade to see Rachel with the Junior High float for Student Government.

Emily and Rachel headed to the park to watch the talent show.
A giant comb was purchased by accident with the grocery order.
Then Rachel headed off to her first church Girl's Camp. This year was Beehive Camp and she had so, so much fun.
Lots of crafts, candy, tubing, and incredible leaders. These girls were in heaven.
We hit up the splash pad with this beautiful weather.
Ian and Justin went to the premiere of the new Spiderman movie. Ian insisted on wearing his size 4 pj pants to the event. Justin received the father of the year prize that night.

Andy loved helping her get around in her new car.
Swim lessons were great this year. Uncle Dick worked Ian and Rachel hard. They all improved so much this year! Josie probably made the biggest improvement of the bunch because she had been so timid in the water before this year.
We continued operation make our backyard into a playground.
Ian had his egg launch and built this beauty which made it so his egg didn't crack during the launch!
We took in a drive-in movie and had a blast seeing Despicable Me 3 and Cars 3.

Rachel was so helpful to Josie to really help her get more comfortable in the water this year. They are the sweetest sisters.
She let Josie paint her face one afternoon.
Ian had to do an allergy test to see if we could narrow down what was causing his congestion. The culprit is a severe grass allergy. It was a relief that was all he is allergic to so now we know how to keep symptoms more manageable.
He was (understandably) worried about the test and his cute siblings made him this surprise to come home to.

Justin, Bridget, and Ian headed up to Smith Creek Lakes up by the weather station. It was such a beautiful day and fun to see snow in July. Ian braved the freezing water for a refreshing swim.
July 24th was spent with wiffle ball and family. Such a fun day!
Josie and Andy found a little snake friend one day when they were pretending to be pioneers.
Maili liked to climb and continued to be Ian's favorite ever.
There was an Ewok Club for a few days that consisted of Ian, Josie, Andy, Payton, and Austin. These were their awesome masks.
Rachel took an amazingly flattering picture of Bridget which we have now lovingly named "the Trunchbull picture." This is screaming to be made into a gif, we know.
