Josie's Birthday

This girl turned 8 and sure knows how to party!  She has been waiting patiently for her Lion House birthday and the event didn't disappoint.

They do such a sweet job of making the birthday girl feel extra special.

Hannah and Rachel got a quick picture in the room of Brigham Young's home where the Young Women's organization was founded.
Button button who has the button?
And making taffy!

Justin modeling how Grandpa Brigham used to wear his bib.

She even got the lucky birthday gumball in her piece of cake!

She chose the lion as her parting gift from the Lion house.

It was so fun to have Grandma along at the party.
We love this birthday girl!
Rachel surprised her sister with a J cookie on her big day.
And we had to have pizza for breakfast!
Grandma got her some cute boots and she started looking way too old.
To end the celebrations we had ice cream sundaes for a little family party.

Things we want to remember about Josie at 8 years old are:
She loves noodles - any kind from Chinese to Italian.
Her favorite movie is Greatest Showman.
Her favorite tv show Good Luck Charlie.
Her favorite things to do are reading, perler beads, and coloring.
Her favorite books are the Kingdom of Wrenley, Like Magic, and Wonder.
Her favorite color is blue.
Her favorite candy is Lemonheads.
Her favorite clothes are her overalls.
She is such a good big sister.  She is always willing to play with Andy and those two are pretty inseparable when they are both home.  She is a great little dancer and loves to sing as well.  We love our Josie and she makes our family so much fun!

At her checkup she is 40 lbs (1%) and 46 in (3%).  We're excited this girl is on the charts!
