 We headed on some hikes.  Lagoon trail is always so pretty.

 Ian loved living his best life at Pineview Resevoir.

 Rachel, Josie, and Austin were some of the many cousins loving the canoe.

 Ian really is so sweet to play with the little kids.

 Then it was snowcone time.  Andy and Payton have had so much fun this summer.  They love imagining Star Wars, Pokemon, and Minecraft worlds.

The school put these fun signs up for our 6th grader.

We laughed way too hard about this meme and Rachel reenacted it a million times.

We headed to Promontory Point on a fun and windy day.  We loved having Alice stay with us for a week.

 Then we went to the Spiral Jetty.  It was stunning!  Such a beautiful day and fun to get outside.

 They got just a little salty and wet.

 So wet the pants came off and this boy went to the bathroom in his mom's clothes.

 No pants for Rachel in the front seat.  It was a funny drive home for sure.

 Josie and Alice made darling Harry Potter pillowcases.

 And painted some cute birdhouses.

 Ian finished reading a book his friend recommended.

 Andy has gotten really into building and he's working on a roller coaster.

 The dance recital was in a Salt Lake studio this year because of the virus and the AC went out.  It was SO hot and so on lunch breaks we headed to a stream at the Sugar House park.

 We got cute pictures from Brooklyn who loves Josie and put her on her homescreen.

 With the umbrella this little dancer was in heaven.

 Rachel got her permit!  And also painted some crazy shoes.

 Such a cute class and the big girls are so patient and kind to the littles.

 A sniper had to set up camp right outside Justin's work window with continuing unrest in the city.

 Masks all day at work for Justin and we wear masks whenever we enter buildings.

Our church congregation is split in half by the alphabet and we go to Sacrament meeting only every other week.  Benches are empty in between families, everyone is masked, and the passing of the sacrament has two trays (one to take from one and one to drop the empty cup).  The meeting only lasts 45 minutes and every other week we have church at home.  Strange times!
