The Wedding

The main event of the summer finally arrived on August 12th - Brady and Kassia's wedding. After a sweet ceremony in the Salt Lake Temple, we waited outside for their arrival. Great Grandma Shirley made sure to visit with Justin and Josie.

Yay!
We had a little downtime and headed over to City Creek Park to relax. The kids loved the fun animal track tiles in the walkway.

And now for some excellent photographs from the photographer...

Check out cute Rachel's legs in this one.

Kassia with the girls (one of which is attacking her big sister).
Brady with the boys (Chris is Kassia's brother in law and C.J. is her older brother).
We lucked out with the weather, it was perfectly warm and not too hot.

Ian was even more enamored with Kassia than usual on the big day and he took every opportunity he could to be around her.
His delicious "spicy drink" (aka Sprite) had to be a substitute while the bride was busy.
Josie spent some quality time with Great Grandma Shirley and great aunts and uncles. Here she is biding them adieu.
The Rio Grande Cafe delivered a fun, delicious, and unique wedding lunch.
Our kids love Brady and Kassia so much and they had a blast at the reception.

Josie and Alice with the bride.

We even snuck a family picture in the mix.
Cory and Alice provided some entertainment.
And, Kassia even succumbed to the pressure of doing the Lee boy's favorite wedding pose.
We had three beautiful little girls and Josie thought the flowers tasted delicious.
Our little gentlemen were mighty cute as well.
All in all, not a bad looking bunch.
The whole family.
Everyone had such a good time at the reception. With ice cream, cupcakes, lemonade, and fabulous weather you really cannot go wrong. Rachel spent most of the event running around the lawn with the other kids.
Ian continued watching his Kassia during the wedding dances. Before the photographer snapped this shot, he was watching Kassia with his chin resting on his arms. So cute.
Right after the dance was done he ran over to congratulate the bride.
Dancing with everyone ensued and Rachel and some great moves with Keriel.
Ethan was a cutie as well.
The evening ended with sparklers and some very tired Lee children going straight to sleep. Congratulations Brady and Kassia - we are so glad to have her as an official member of the family!
