We are so excited to have our new nephew and cousin here safely! Austin Cade arrived on the 24th and both he and Kelli are doing really well. He is absolutely adorable and we are delighted to have another boy around. Despite what Ian was originally telling people, he is not Ian's new "baby brother" (it definitely created some confusion when he kept saying he was getting a new baby brother) but Ian has changed his tune to slightly to say that it is "his baby".
We are also thrilled to announce that Justin got a permanent job at the lieutenant governor's office starting next Monday. The market has been so tough that we feel incredibly lucky that he found something that is going to be interesting and which he will be around some great people. Even though we could never have foreseen it, his research that he did in graduate school for his assistantship and the work that he did with the committee in D.C. were things that are directly related to the election work that he will be doing in this office and were major reasons that he was hired. We also found out about the position from one of our great Bountiful neighbors that we ran into at a grocery store. We definitely feel like things have worked out amazingly well and we are excited for him to begin this job. We're probably still going to stay in Farmington for at least this semester because he is going to be swamped trying to finish up everything with USU and the new full-time job.
And for our final (and possibly Bridget's favorite) exciting announcement for the week: Josie slept through the night for the first time last night! It has been a long time coming and this morning the birds seemed to be chirping a little more sweetly and the sun shone brighter for one thrilled mom.

Congratulations to Justin on his job! That's very exciting. And what a fun race. We signed Lucas up for a 1K fun run and have been practicing with him lately. And yay for Josie sleeping! We're still working on that one with Nicolas...
Wonderful news on many fronts. Congratulations.
