We are having a fun spring and have nothing very exciting to report - just kids up to crazy things as usual.
Thanks to Sid the Science Kid a few years back, Rachel has a continued obsession with pulleys and trying to make them. This was her best attempt to date and they were excited to have a system for transporting blocks the whole length of the living room.

Soccer continues despite COLD weather everyday we meet. Here are some cold boys posing for some team pictures. It is fun to have Payton on the team too!

On a day that we had warm weather Josie escaped in the back and was pretty proud of herself.

Rachel through a little "
saaling parte" (sailing party) for Ian and these were the snacks which she served.

Cold weather has forced us to be crafty and here was the kids' masterpieces for the day (in case you can't tell it's "Princess Rachel" and Ian).

Forts are all the rage around here - with or without evening formal wear.

Our cute Josie was so excited to watercolor for the first time this week.

Bridget had a great Mother's Day this year and particularly loved Rachel's sweet card and painted bird that she made at school. She was so proud of her work and excited to surprise her mom.

She also boosted Bridget's self esteem because she took two years off her age, some pounds off her weight, and despite children's complaints at dinnertime which would suggest otherwise she said her mom was good at cooking (and no, we don't usually serve just "peas" for dinner).
