Ian and Justin went to their first Father's and Son's Campout, held in Mantua. They had a great time and Ian was thrilled about everything.
Ian put together a strict schedule of tent, eating hotdogs, playing catch, reading his favorite books, going to sleep, taking the tent down, and eating breakfast. He even took the tent down all by himself! It was a very successful first camp.Justin and Bridget ran the Ragnar Relay on Rob's team with Suzy and nine other crazy people. Brady, Kassia , and Parker were our awesome volunteers that worked at Snow Basin.
Looking awesome before our restful "night" of sleep (aka two hours) on Morgan Jr. High wrestling matts.
There was a lot of fun involved and a lot of running as well - 16.5 miles for Bridget, but it finally ended with this handoff to Justin where Bridget had to totally fake being exhausted and looking gross and tired.
Justin on the other hand ended his race with an uphill sprint to the finish.
There was still tons of snow on the mountain.
It was a fun race and here we are at the finish with Ryan and Kimber.
In other news, Rachel had a little dress-up tea party with some friends.
Crazy sisters.
It finally warmed up enough to get out on a fun family bike ride. Josie loves the bike seat this year!

It helped that there were treats at the end.
And for everyone's enjoyment, here are short clips of Josie sucking a cup up and walking like a monkey.

So fun to see your family.
Ragnar! That's so awesome Bridget and Justin - especially Bridget who hated running in high school. Del is doing the one in Vegas in October. One day I hope to do one I just have to get my knee better and get in shape.
Just got all caught up on the blog Bridget! You've had a fun and busy summer! I loved seeing you at This Is The Place, but I'm bummed we didn't get a picture together?! Oh well, next year.... :)
You guys are great, what a cute, fun, family!
Can't wait for our little get together!
