A Busy November

It feels like things are moving too rapidly around here! Brooke found this awesome picture from a train party Bridget's mom threw when she was three. Evidently she was really surprised about something! Look at cute Brooke, Ally, and Elaine in this great picture.
And now we're getting together to celebrate Ally's success with her sequel to Matched - Crossed. We got together for a fun dinner and it was great to see these fun girls for an evening.
Some of us made it through the line to see the celebrity. Congratulations Ally!
Rachel has been loving basketball and holding her own as the only girl in her age division.
She continues to be goofy on and off the court.
This week we had Reflections night and Rachel did great with her drawing of fairies, and blue grass and blue trees to represent the theme "Diversity is..." Funny girl.
She also had a Regional Recital and played French Children's Song. She did a fantastic job and was exceptionally silly when we got home and Grandma and Grandpa came over to celebrate her great night.
Justin's dream came true this week: a super large tire (acquired for free) to have on hand for workouts. The kids thought it was great to climb in and out of .
We attended a fun birthday for cute Hailey Parnell on her birthday of 11/11/11. It was a total surprise and Rachel delighted in being able to use silly string for the first time.
Then we headed to Farmington to enjoy Kassia's Harry Potter sugar cookies and "snitch" cake balls in honor of the final movie release.
We have also had some snow the past two weekends and Josie is playing in it for the first time and enjoying herself quite a bit (last year she was a little too small to enjoy the full effect).
Rachel and Justin went on a date rock climbing and our girl loved every second.




Bridget and Justin headed to a great Ute game against UCLA. It was snowy, but very fun!
This year in Primary the kids had a challenge to read the Book of Mormon as a family before the Primary Program. To celebrate the end of the challenge Captain Moroni made a special appearance. The kids thought it was really fun and Josie thought he was Super Why.
Ian got to try out his shield and Rachel held the Title of Liberty.
To top of a busy couple of weeks we had a great Primary program today in Sacrament Meeting. The kids all sang and did a great job saying their parts. Ian was unfortunately for us (probably fortunately for the rest of the congregation) was a total clown, but ironically delivered his line of, "I can show love by being good at church" perfectly. Oh well, he certainly entertained everyone! However, he wanted no pictures to document his cuteness, but our sweet Rachel obliged.
