Anderson Desmond Lee

We headed to the hospital early on the morning of November 28th and found out that an emergency c-section beat us in priority so we had to wait around for a little longer than planned.
But, by 11:30 we had our sweet little Anderson Desmond Lee ("Andy").  He weighed 6 lbs 12 oz, was 19 inches long and was very healthy and sweet from the beginning.

His first bath.

Grandma and Grandpa brought up Rachel to meet him first and she was absolutely delighted.

 Brady was a proud uncle.
Parker is so sweet with his new little nephew.

Ian is over the moon about having a new baby brother and has been so kind to his "little bro".  When we brought him home Ian made sure that we gave Andy a tour of his room and showed him lots of cool boy things.  These two are going to be great friends.
Josie has turned into a little mother to Andy.  She is such a good helper and is quick to grab things Bridget needs and try and "chill him out" when he's sad (talking and singing to him).

Even though it's busy with four they couldn't be more happy to have Andy in the family and in fact Ian at one point was hoping that we were trading him in for Josie.  No such luck buddy.
Ian and Josie didn't spend too much time at the hospital because it was hard to find things other than Dad's clothes to entertain themselves.

After four days with incredible nurses, a sweet baby (who gave us a little scare and stopped breathing after his circumcision), and a rested Bridget we put him in clothes and headed home.

This little man was very perplexed by the whole carseat thing, but we got him home just fine without a whimper once we were in the car.
