Andy has been showered with attention since he has come home. We are so grateful we have also been able to keep him healthy in a year than has been dubbed "the worst flu year in 10 years." One of our friends that works at Primary Children's Hospital says that they are triple bunked with RSV patients so we have been extra cautious about hand washing, changing clothes when we've been in crowded places, and staying inside as much as possible. We're almost out of the cold season so hopefully we'll be able to keep this little boy well!
His cousin Austin is so sweet with him. He always wants to hold him when they're together. It is adorable.
Payton is wonderful too and is always saying home much he loves Baby Anderson.
Rachel is awesome at helping with Andy and will hold him endlessly if we let her. Home school sounds better and better because she has been great to have around and hard to let go in the mornings.
Nana and Grandad were able to come and visit (we got Nana two weekends in a row!) before Grandad started treatment chemo treatments for chronic lymphocytic leukemima.

Andy with his namesake. We have wanted to use a name to honor Grandad for a while and loved that we chose Desmond for Andy's middle name even before we knew he was diagnosed with CLL. We hope that our little guy will be smart and kind like his wonderful grandfather.
