One Week Down

To kick off summer our sweet Andy turned 18 months and joined the ranks of the nursery class at church!  His cute teacher already had his picture on the door and had come by our home to visit and make him feel comfortable.  He has been doing really well.  He also had his checkup and is rocking the small frame at 21 lbs (2%), 30 in (3%) and 47 cm head (27%).  He is developmentally right on and is turning out to be quite a funny kid.
Justin and Bridget were invited to the CenterPoint Theatre Gala which was quite the event.  Dinner was delicious and the Peter Brienholt concert was a lot of fun.
We tried to stay busy by going on a walk/ride along the Lagoon Trail.

Dressing up as "red riding hood" complete with a cape made out of a skirt.
Bridget went to the "Academy Awards of nonprofit awards" as one winner put it.  It was a beautiful event honoring 25 winners exemplifying efforts for healthy communities in Utah.  She wrote the grant for CenterPoint and here is sweet Shelley Davies accepting it for the Theatre.
We squirted some water and ran through sprinklers to keep cool.

It was a good first week and will be fun to see the other things the summer will bring!

What a fun start to the summer! We're hoping to get together with you some time this summer so that we can bask in your coolness for a day.
