Rachel and Ian had quite a great school year this year! They are delighted that school is finished and Bridget is trying to be delighted that she gets to be the entertainment for the next 3 months. The last week of school was tons of fun!
The Choir Club snuck in one last performance the final week of school and Rachel rocked the boots.
Ian was so excited to get his cute graduation certificate and probably more excited about this little monster a crafty mom made him.
Bridget got to go with Ian on his field trip to Wheeler Farm and it was a really fun day. Ian loved the blacksmith the most and told him he could make a "plumbing wrench" with his tools. Why, yes, I guess you could.

Ian has loved his Chinese teacher Lin Lao Shi and we're sad she is off to California and so we'll have a different teacher for Josie. But, she was so great with him and loved these kids. We loved the photo bombing kindergartener.
And sweet, sweet Mrs. Christensen. This lady is a fantastic and patient teacher. The children adore her and she makes them each feel so loved. What a great beginning to school these teachers gave our boy!

Ian was pretty elated to receive 2 place in chess club for regular chess and 4th place for speed chess in his age group.
We went to help with field day and Rachel was so sweet to take Josie around to play.

Rachel adored Mrs. Francom this year. She is such a great example of kindness and empathy. She had the kids do a "kindness counts club" where they did a service project each month and I think they probably learned more from that than anything else. She recognized and praised Rachel's passion for reading and always made her feel special.
Wu Lao Shi was also a great teacher and one of the first who really stretched Rachel (especially in math). She made her want to do better and try harder and we appreciate what a great teacher she is. Now on to summer!
