We went to Animal Kingdom the day we flew out. As you can see, Ian was tired out, but we quickly changed his tune once it was discovered that there was an "Up" themed merit badge challenge throughout the park. If you give this boy a mission, he is happy!
The Tree of Life was awesome. The whole base is carved with different animals.
The safari was incredible.

The badges!!!! It was pretty cute because they got to learn something at each station. One of the troop leaders was from Utah and was pretty excited we were there.
Oh my, Pocohantas was so sweet. She told her a darling story about flowers and John Smith.
Bridget and Rachel kept their eyes closed for most of Expedition to Everest and missed the Abominable Snowman. Also, Bridget also had a heart attack on a dinosaur ride. Rachel and Justin almost had a heart attack from laughing at how scared she got.
Then it was a race to the airport and a very great wrapping job of Mr. Bones by Jet Blue.
And we were off!
It was a pretty incredible trip. We loved being together and are totally indebted to wonderful parents and friends who watched Andy. He still looks at pictures of airplanes and says, "Mommy back soon." He was reportedly great for everyone and no permanent damage was done by leaving him behind for this one.
