Rachel and her friends have a pretty fun little club that meets at least once a week in our neighbor's back yard shed. The Friday before her birthday her friends surprised her with the cutest surprise party. Here is her pictures of the decorations. It totally made her day.
We had a party and ice cream sundae bar with family on the big day.
She is a special girl!
Her big present was stop animation software which she has been loving.
That weekend we had a really fun late night with 13 cute 9-11 year olds. It was so funny to listen to their enthusiasm. They were so funny! Rachel's request was a popcorn bar and cupcakes. Simple and done! We played Find 10 Things, the name game, Bandit, and Bingo.
Playing Bingo was hilarious. Every number Justin called was met with the most dramatic, "NO!!!" you've ever heard.
We love our funny, creative, smart girl. Here are some of the things we want to remember about her at 10:
Her favorite color is green.
Her favorite books are the Grimm Sisters series.
Her favorite movie is Princess Bride.
She LOVES to read and has several books going at once.
She loves being outside playing, roller blading, riding bikes, hiking, and running.
She is a good big sister and is so sweet to Andy and is good to play with Ian and Josie.
She has a great imagination and can make us all laugh.
Rachel is a girl-version of Justin at age 10. She has his sense of humor and likes to tease her parents.
She has a good voice and loves singing and school choir.
She really tries to choose the right. She does a good job helping others and trying to be a good friend.
We love this girl and can't wait to see where life takes her!
Rachel's checkup stats this year are: weight 73.8 lbs (51%) and height 55 inches (57%).
