Summertime and the Living is Busy

Summer life is a good and very busy!  We have been trying to beat the heat with good things and have had lots of fun since school got out.
Rachel is busy with these goats and girls three times a week.

Softball went all the way until July 4th because so many May games were rained out.  The Bandits did a great job and Rachel got to be pretty darn good this season.  She is a great batter and played 1st base most of the time on this team.

Bridget and Andy walked up to Farmington Pond on a beautiful night when the other kids went to a rehearsal with Dad.

We even saw this big raccoon on the way home!
Josie has been in heaven having her cousin Alice here for this summer.  These two are pretty darling together.

The new Nigerian dwarf goats are Rachel's favorites.
Rachel put on a tea party for these two cuties.
Josie's little girl room is no more!  After a crazy day switching all the kids' rooms around Josie is now sharing with Ian in the big room and this is being transformed into all things boy for Anderson.
We have a really fun dentist who hosted a splash pad party for his patients.  Ian won one of the raffles with this bunny as the prize.
Ethan was baptized the week after Ian and it was fun to see Grandma Shirley at the big event.  She was so sweet to give Ian a special book.
No one has ever looked more fabulous while at a goat show than our Josie.
We found a family of baby ducks without their Mom and the kids shot into action to rescue them.  Rounding them up was quite a task, but they got 11 safely delivered to the creek.

Andy is so goofy when he's in a good mood.
Poor Bridget is trying to keep some sort of clean  house during these busy days.
Rachel held ninja training one day and Bridget went outside to find this:  practicing meditating and patience.
Brian and Sandy gave Rachel a Chinese calligraphy set and she painted this fish on her first go around.
Josie finished online preschool (Upstart program) and had her graduation.
Brady threw our girl in the air during a pool party and she was in heaven.

Venus and Jupitur have been spectacular this year.  It has been fun to watch them at night.
