Rachel did a cute treasure hunt for her on the day of her birthday to find "Cookie" the mouse stuffed animal she had been hoping for. Ian also surprised her with a darling penguin pillow pet.
Because it was opening night for Dad, Justin took her out for a treat.
And she showed off her "crazy eyes", which have subsequently been checked out and okayed by a pediatric opthamologist.
We had a fun Belle Barbie cake for the party.
She some fun random things she had been hoping for: etch-a-sketch, lip gloss making kit, etc. She is a pretty fun girl!
At her doctor's check-up she was not on the BMI chart at 32.2 lbs (less than 0%), but her height is only the 2% (41.5 inches)so the doctor wasn't worried because she is growing and proportional.
We love this fun, energetic girl. She has so much personality and is so great at meeting people and making friends quickly. Somethings we want to remember about 6-year-old Josie are:
She loves to be with people and is great to play with Andy or anyone else who is willing.
She loves to "read" books and will sit and go through picture and chapter books forever.
She doesn't have a favorite movie, but is pretty happy with lots of different ones (Annie, Cheaper by the Dozen, etc).
Her favorite song is "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" (until Bridget kept teasing her so she refuses this is true).
She loves to draw and makes notes and pictures to make people happy.
She is very coordinated and is pretty great at biking, scootering, and rollerblading.
She loves to lip sync to songs and is pretty darn funny about it.
She has the cutest sense of style and matches colors, but not so much with the patterns. She also loves to be in pajamas whenever she can.
She loves "Princess Elena" stories that we make up for fun.
Her favorite book is The Princess in Black.
We love this cute girl so much and are so glad she is in our family!
