Winter Break

To start the break off right, Ian headed to church in true holiday fashion.  The full glory of the soccer socks was saved for his family.
Josie had an adorable dance recital where they demonstrated a little barre work.

And then showed their sweet "Let it Snow" dance.

The Battle Wagon (Subaru) made it to 200,000!
This adventurous girl was in her element snowshoeing with Justin.

There was this funny sign at Justin's work.
We headed downtown to see the amazing Macy's windows and beautiful Temple Square.
 Rachel is strong!
And we enjoyed some serious snow at our house!
 Look at our front trees.
Don't worry, we can still try and ride bikes.
At least we have a good little shoveler.
Rachel continues to sway Bridget on this issue.
Josie brought home a darling ornament from school for the kid tree.
We headed to Guliana's Nutcracker with Kayelynn.
This sweet girl helped Bridget with a special Christmas lesson for the Young Women by singing Away in a Manger with Haley Justensen.

She even had fancy hair to boot.
These two were obsessed with making melty bead robots.  After the break Ian has over 70 of them!

Bridget played a couple of really fun Christmas concerts with Kristen, Ryan, Emily, and their darling girls.
We had a lot of fun sledding.

Andy loved a visit to the tire store to check our pressure.
We headed to the zoo and were seriously one of 20 families that braved the 10 degree temperatures.
 We got pictures with everything!

New Year's was so much fun and after the big night we slept in and then ordered pizza.

The girls finished their puzzle and are getting donuts this week because we were staring at them for 14 days.

Josie did a beautiful portrait of Justin.
These two tried to adjust to 1:00 church by doing slow motion pillow fights to church music with all the extra morning time.
This silly boy headed to Primary (the church classes for children over 3).  No more nursery for the Lee family - it's crazy!

Nana got some great shots of some of the birds that love our front trees.

And she got a beautiful sunset picture on the way to a Christmas concert at Kristen's house.

New Year's Eve was so fun.  Lip syncs started off the night and Parker terrified us all in this outfit for Britney Spears.  Ian whistled, Josie busted, and Rachel sang a sweet ballad.

Andy was Grandma's helper for Bingo.
After a full night of fun games this crew headed out into the cold for a barefoot run/obstacle course in the snow.  Here is the action.
At 12:30am we called it a night in get-ups like this ...
and this.  We hope everyone had a great Winter Break!
