Christmas was so much fun this year. Our kids are still young enough to believe in the magic and enjoy the fun little traditions we enjoy together. It was a really great time.
Christmas Eve kicked off with gingerbread decorating.Justin went all out this year - or maybe not so much.
Here were some of the kids' efforts.
So special!
We loved some Christmas pajamas.
And here was the sweet plate left for the big man.
Everyone was pretty delighted with their gifts this year. We went with one big present and then some family gifts and everyone was as happy as a clam - or clams.
Rachel made Andy a superhero cape and here he is jumping off the step to her to demonstrate.
Ian demonstrated his ability to be gross by "chewing" a whole pack of gum at once...
and making a fruit by the foot beard.
We had family over for a delicious breakfast and Josie tried to keep Nixon's attention.
Here's footage of Josie's ridiculous talking.
We had a fun ward party with a visit from Santa. Nana was up for Aunt Linda's (Bridget's great-aunt) funeral so she snapped these cute pictures.
Here is the before and after from Rachel on our decorating efforts.
And we always love our little Nativity. Josie would only be Mary this year if Austin was Joseph.
Who knows what this crazy shepherd is up to, but it was a great Christmas!
