March Catch Up

 Things have been hopping along at our house with lots of fun things in between the normal days.

We had an etiquette dinner for a family home evening to learn a little more about good manners.  Notice that Andy was asleep and that was a great thing.  The girls did such a great job decorating and setting the table and Ian helped cook.

 Ian is a go-getter.  He sent one of his songs into Alfred Publishing to try and get it published and got this great letter in return.  He's preparing another one for a different publisher right now.

 February is when the cabinets look their very best around here.

Bridget helped take these great Young Women down to the Provo City Center Temple open house.  It was stunning.

 There are babies galore at the farm these days. Here is one of the Nigerian Dwarf babies.

 We headed to Ogden for a train show and couldn't pass up a picture with "the hoochie cowgirl of Ogden".

 The train ride was a serious hit with Andy.

 This poor boy had a crazy run of pink eye, ear infections, and then an allergic reaction to the antibiotic.

 But some toys helped a little.

Some of our very favorite picture book authors, Mark and Carolyn Buehner, visited the school and we got these signed books for each kid.  They were in heaven.

 The youth played human foosball and Bridget organized the whole shebang.

 Blackmail.

 Bridget's hummus smiled at her.

 These two got some morning workouts in.

 There was even some push-ups with a little resistance.

 This funny boy surprised us by showing us he knew the real names to all the chess pieces.

 We headed up to the University of Utah for state chess.  Ian thought Bridget's falling in the soup story was hilarious and reenacted it at the very table.

 We saw goats being born.

And we headed to Centerville Elementary's Seussical.  These two kind of like the Maisy bird song and made some tails too.

Rachel did another great job this year as a team captain for Battle of the Books.  Here was their cute poster.  She had a rough time with a team that had only read one or two books a piece (there were over 20 total) so she did a good job holding them together.

 We headed to the Bountiful Arts Center to see the beautiful paintings from Utah illustrators (one of which is the father of our good friend).

 One morning these two needed to be pirates.

Rachel had a great 5th grade assembly celebrating America.  They sung their hearts out and we loved seeing their hard work.

 

 The presidental primary was held in caucuses this year and the turnout was crazy.  Here was the democratic one Bridget went to which took over 2 hours to vote.  All over the state people ran out of ballots.

 Hannah and Rachel are in the chick selling business.

 Ian needs to tweak his advertising ideas.

 These two love themselves some Mario cart.

We headed to the zoo to kick off spring break.

 Josie did a great job at her recital playing Go Tell Aunt Rhody.

Josie was invited to Macey's fun party where they got pedicures, treats, and played at the park.  Pretty fantastic!

Justin keeps popping up on people's campaign materials because he helps them file.  His friend is helping with this campaign and said this post raised them a ton of money.  It's because of Justin's exceptional good looks.
