Chinese New Year

To celebrate Chinese New Years we headed to the Davis Conference Center for a night of dancing, singing, and skits in Chinese.

Our wonderful Principal Vonzaa is moving to a different school and Anne Jeppesen (our PTA President and friend) honored her that night.

This little one was front and center and couldn't have loved it more.

Josie and Graycen

This boy was so funny with his friends in line.
Andy showed off a few of his moves in his Chinese outfit.

He loved these decorations and was obsessed with the "dragons" (the dragon dance and then the lights on the wall in dragon shapes).
Here's a couple of peeks of Ian on the back row singing about the year of the monkey.

Rachel's grade did a play of the Frozen story.  She had been in Florida during auditions so didn't narrate, but was just fine with her friend Macey next to her singing the songs.

It's kind of surreal to see gas prices at such low prices (this was after a $0.50/gallon discount).
And here Josie is before heading out the door for the school assemblies.  Fun and busy day!

For a date Bridget, Josie, and Ian headed ice skating.  These two did such a great job for their first time.  Josie had some serious balance and didn't even need one of the balancers.  Ian was such a champ and kept going and ended up being faster than us at the end of the night.

Justin and Bridget had a great night at the Salt Lake Temple with Rob, Suzy, Brady, and Kassia.

Justin also likes to keep busy by working out with kids (here and here) and by pushing ridiculous things (here).
