Okay, so Minnesota is finally getting to be pretty cold. We don't have snow on the ground, but it's been 6 degrees in the mornings when Justin leaves and about 13-18 during the days. Everyone needs to hope that we're going to survive when it gets below 0, because it feels about as cold as it can get right now!
We had a fun week of getting our home ready for Christmas. We have our tree and other Christmas decorations up and we're working really hard with Rachel to just look and not touch everything (but, this endeavor has been pretty unsuccessful so far). These pictures are of a gingerbread house that we made on Friday (if you blow up the second one you can see her the results of her first ever hair-curling experience - she was quite pleased with herself!). She loved making this little house! For everything that's on it she ate approximately two times this amount during the process and about three times the house materials ended up on the floor. I think it's the messiest our kitchen has ever been, but it was worth it because she had so much fun!
Other than Christmas preparations, Justin is busy getting ready for his final exams. It makes us even more excited for Christmas that he'll get a huge break!
