Where is the snow?

This week Justin has been busy with the end of classes and his first exam on Saturday. To celebrate the end of his first test we went to the Minneapolis Holidazzle Parade (a lot like Disney's Electric Light Parade). Rachel loved it and this last picture demonstrates how she was in awe of the lights and floats the whole time (her mouth was continually open). The highlights were Captain Hook and, of course, Santa Claus. And, even though it has been pretty cold there is still no snow in Minnesota! They're even saying they might not have a white Christmas this year! Don't worry, we're not complaining, Rachel is just a little disappointed she hasn't been able to make her snowman yet. But, I'm sure that we'll have plenty of opportunities in January.
We also thought that we'd mention how Rachel is quite the little organizer lately. Everything has a very specific place in our home and we've found items disappearing and later turning up in very logical places. Bridget couldn't find her engagement ring for a few days and was very worried - later she found that Rachel had put it in with her earrings (of course all jewelry should go together). Bridget has also found the book that she has been reading relocated to where we put Rachel's books and Justin found his cell phone placed in a pocket of his backpack. We're not sure if all of this means that she'll be great at the sciences, home decorating, or both, but it is pretty humorous (as long as we can eventually find things).
