Muggy Muggles

It has been a "scorcher" this week in the Twin Cities. We keep hearing differing reports, but it has been in the 90's, which supposedly feels like low 100's because of the humidity. All we know is it's hot. But, we braved the temperatures to go on lots of walks and play outside. Here Justin, Rachel, and sleeping Ian are on the Stonearch Bridge over the Mississippi River.
Rachel was even up for a jog back to the car.
We've been trying to get Rachel to be a little more tidy when she eats and so her solution was to eat her icecream like this (to keep her forehead clean).
Here's Rachel mimicking the Olivia books once again. Here she told Justin she was "gracefully riding home".

While we miss some parts of home ownership, one major bonus to renting is not having to deal with problems around out place. Here is a giant hornets nest that they have been trying to eliminate this week. We're just excited our window oversees the activity - and that we don't have to do it ourselves!
Ian's little personality is getting cuter by the day. He is really ticklish on his legs and Justin can get him laughing really hard. Here is our cute smiling boy...

This is Rachel's "robot" costume. She wore it around for quite a while and didn't even give herself any injuries in the process. Other than having fun with our last full summer week here, we're getting really excited for our trip to Utah this coming week. Rachel keeps saying things like, "I want to go to Utah, right now!" The excitement is definitely mounting.

Hi, you four. I love checking your blog. Your kids are so cute. Rachel nursing her doll is hilarious! Congrats Justin, on the law review. Bridget, did you get your turn on Book 7 yet? In our family, it was the other way around. I read it in a day (Saturday), and Spencer is finally almost done. (He only reads it on the train.) Have fun in Utah and say hello to your family from me.
