We're mourning the end of summer! It's just a little scary when summer ends here, because then people start talking about winter. And, we're definitely not prepared for that season yet. At least when we're shut up in our home in a few months, we'll have some cute kids to watch. Ian is quite the mover and loves to be on his tummy.
For Labor Day, we went on a little hike through the "woods". Rachel encouraged us to do quite a few rousing verses of "Following the Leader" from Peter Pan. People probably thought that we were crazy.
Bridget had a very happy parenting moment this week when she asked Rachel to share a toy with Ian so he could look at something and Rachel proceeded to set up this "zoo" for him to view. She was so excited when he was looking at her work, it was really cute!

Bridget! I love these pictures of Ian, what a handsome boy! And as always, I love reading about what Rachel is up to, what a sweet, fun, loveable little girl you have. We still need to get together, I feel like I've been saying that for a year now... oh wait, it has been a year - where has the time gone? Crazy. See you soon - Kara
