Utah We Love Thee

Well, life is starting to get "normal" at the Lee house. We've definitely been keeping busy since moving back and have already gotten to do a lot of fun things in the process. One of the first stops was to a University of Utah gymnastics meet. Rachel loved all of the action and in her words the best part was when they did "run, run, run, flip" (vault) and when she gave Swoop a high-five. We're pretty sure she also enjoyed this mega-phone the cheerleaders gave us. She kept cheering into it, "go Yankees, go Utes, go Twins." We've got one confused sports fan on our hands.

Ian was also a champ as usual and it was much easier to enjoy this family outing with Grandma and Grandpa assistance.

Ian is full of teeth lately and the count is up to eight. Here's the best picture we were able to get.

Another exciting addition to our life is brother-bonding. This usually comes in the form of wrestling, kickboxing, or Wii bowling. In this picture Justin is hidden under Parker.
We've also made a trip up to Logan to check out the prospects. We had a great time and here Rachel is being "Justin" while he ran some stuff into the school. She was pretending to drive and then had a conversation on his phone. Also, this darling necklace has been a favorite and was from her cute MN friend Mayli.
Of course, Logan was even more exciting because we stopped for Aggie ice cream. Yummm! Rachel wouldn't leave until she'd had every bite and so we spent a good 40 minutes savoring the goods.
And, we finally made our snowman for this winter. We had been putting it off in MN because of the cold, but now we can actually go outside for more than 5 minutes we were able to do it.
We were also able to see Cory, Kristen, and Ethan last weekend when they came up for Payton's baby blessing. Here's the brothers with their babies.

We also made it out for sledding. Ian loved being outside, but the reflection off of the snow was really bright. Here we are trying the sunglasses technique.

Then to try and keep the sun glare low, we employed the umbrella.
Before we got to Utah we kept talking to Rachel about the fun things we'd be able to do. Hands down, the thing she was most excited about was making popcorn balls with Grandma. Here's the big event and they were delicious!
