The Beginning of Fall

Things are cooling down in Logan and it has been a beautiful fall week. We were lucky to have Nana visiting for the week, so it helped a lot in getting over sicknesses and getting used to our bigger family. Rachel tried on an old dress of Bridget's and gave a little 80's spin in the frilly outfit.

A happy Rachel with her Nana.
Nana helped Rachel make this fun purple hat for when it gets colder.
Poor Ian has been getting used to one-arm living. Much to our disappointment, having a cast really hasn't slowed the boy down very much. Here he is in a special outfit of his choosing (notice the buttons all the way done up) accentuated by his too-small helmet. In the Lee family we have our own spectacular sense of style.
We keep asking him if he needs help with anything and he usually responds, "I got it!"
Josie is getting bigger everyday.
Who me?
I'm going to have to think very hard about that.
Rachel lovers her little sister so much.
Nana cuddling with the new grand baby.

You can tell she already thinks her dad is the greatest.
Our girl has a great startle reflex that is pretty funny.
Ian continues to be a good sport going along with most of Rachel's ideas. One day after breakfast Bridget peeked in to see them playing "barber shop" complete with the superhero cape as a beauty salon apron.
Today Justin and the "big" kids headed to the American West Heritage Center to enjoy the fun fall activities with Paul, his kids, and Nana. Here they are on their wagon ride.
They had a great hay jump and Rachel braved the big leap twice. Justin had to convince Ian to take a smaller jump.

Ian steering the pirate ship.
They found a little snake in the hay bales and Rachel was delighted to hold the find.
Getting ready for the big slide...
Wheeee!
Here she is panning for jewels.
Much to Ian's delight there was even a little train ride.
Ella and Rachel on the caboose.
They had a fun little petting zoo and Rachel loved the baby goat.
Part of the group getting ready for the big corn maze.
A happy boy with his daddy.
Here they come towards the finish!

What beautiful pictures of Josie and what a fun adventure you had. Lucas was asking about Rachel last night and if she's ever going to come back to Minnesota. His memory is so amazing to me sometimes.
