Josie in the Hospital

Josie's time in the hospital felt pretty eventful. We had a lot of visitors and the nurses and doctors kept us busy with regular checks. We stayed for the minimum time we could because Bridget has a very real hatred for hospital beds (we left right at 48 hours). Here's our new girl being adored by her family.

Here she is getting her first bath and the first "first bath" that Bridget has ever been able to see!

The new facilities at the Logan Regional Hospital were very nice and there were little phrases written above the bathroom doors in the rooms that we were in - the placement of which always made us chuckle. In the room where they were getting us ready for surgery it said, "live, laugh, love". While it was a very nice sentiment, the last thing you are doing right before a c-section is laughing. Surgery is not the best, but it certainly had a good end product.

The new big brother is so proud of his baby sister.

You can tell he is probably thinking something like, "does my sister have a body under all these blankets?"

Rachel could not get enough of holding her new sister and would do so as long as anyone would let her.

We had some exciting surprise visitors right before we left for home - Cory and Kristen from Arizona! It was great to see them and Josie was excited that Kristen made her even more snuggly (Bridget was super warm and had the air pumped up, which was probably freezing her new child).
