Family Fashion

For those that haven't heard yet, we are excited that Justin is going to be doing an internship with Senator Bennett over the summer in Washington, D.C. Because of our many crazy requirements for family housing (time constraints/space requirements/finances) we have decided that it makes the most since for Justin to go alone and for the rest of our family to go and bother grandparents in Farmington for the summer. We are going to miss Justin so much, but as usual time will probably fly by with summer activities. As for now, the craziness continues in Logan until the end of April. Rachel loves to do little experiments and her favorite last week was putting water and bubbles in her little beaker and then waiting overnight for the bubbles to pop. This outfit is optional for our little scientist, but she was certainly enjoying herself.

Ian is also sporting a nice look lately because he insists on wearing his bike helmet pretty much anytime he's outside. It's better to be prepared, right?

Both kids needed bigger bikes this year, so we made an afternoon of it and picked some out. Because it got too cold, they didn't get to ride outside for a couple of days, but they have been a hit ever since.

Ian is really funny about working out lately and one of his new favorite ways to exercise is by doing his version of capoeira (Brazilian martial art). He saw a short clip of capoeira and the guy had his shirt off, so Ian insists that he must also be topless whenever he shows us his moves.

And look at our sweet Josie's new trick! She has to support herself with her hands, but she can sit like this for quite a while. We got her in for her six-month check-up and her stats are 3% weight, 10% length, and 43% head circumference. We had been having some problems with her eating (both nursing and eating solids), so we've switched acid reflux medicine, Bridget has stopped eating (okay, not everything - it just feels like it some days), and we are trying to figure out ways to bulk out little one up. She is doing the funniest noises lately when she gets excited, kind of a short yelp. Rachel keeps calling her a little pteranadon.

Other than that we're just trying to get in some quality Justin time and he is racing to finish up research projects and the thesis. Wish us luck and we hope that everyone is enjoying the beginning of spring!
