A Tent Full of Easter Excitement

Even though the calendar says that it is spring in Logan, we keep getting snow. So, one day Justin put the tent up to help make kids happier even though the weather continues to be cold.

It was a hit and Rachel really spent almost the entire day inside.

Bridget and Rachel were able to go on a fun date to the Cache Valley Civic Ballet's production of the Firebird. Not surprisingly, her favorite costume was the pretty red tutu of the Firebird herself.

We also got to have Uncle Brady visit for a whole weekend and we did a lot of fun things including a trip for some Aggie ice cream.

We are half-heartedly potty training Ian, but one day he decided to store up his treats so that he could have two of the same sucker at a time.

On another snow day we needed something fun to do so we had a "Snow Day Olympics". For some reason headbands were essential to the endeavor.

This is what we woke up to on April Fools Day.

Even though it was snow in April, the kids were still excited because it was perfect for packing...

and for snowball fights!

To top off the day we had breakfast for dinner and Bridget made this pancake which was light brown felt dipped in batter. It looked totally real and poor Justin attempted to cut it for quite a while before the joke was revealed.

We then began Easter festivities with dying eggs and then heading to a very cold (and hopefully unique) snowy egg hunt.

There were so many eggs, Ian actually finished before the eggs were all gathered. He was delighted with his full basket.

And if you look closely, here is the evidence that Josie attended the festivities as well.

We then headed to Grandma's for some delicious ice cream sundaes after Saturday General Conference.

Ethan was cracking Rachel up by stealing her gummy bears away and popping them into his mouth.

It's great to have funny cousins.

This was one of the first priesthood sessions that all the Lee boys were able to attend together. We are currently accepting donations for poor Parker's facial reconstructive surgery.

The Easter bunny even found us in Farmington and the kids got some great books and slippers. The bunny was even kind enough to give Josie a little basket filled with baby food. Rachel and Ian loved finding their baskets and helping Brady and Grandma and Grandpa find theirs too. We topped off the day on Sunday with a delicious dinner and another egg hunt.
