Pooky Park City

We have had a couple of fun and busy weeks around here. It has been a really beautiful fall and we are trying to soak up the sun before the cold comes in full force.

The kids love being outside and one day they got some treats from a neighbor and decided to be "alien friends" sitting in the same chair. Their colored mouths made it a tad bit more realistic.

For General Conference weekend, we headed to Park City and stayed in Grandma Shirley's condo. The kids loved swimming, watching movies and conference, and eating delicious food. When we'd go out on walks Ian would say, "are we going back to our new home (aka condo)?" The poor kid is totally confused, but we did have a lot of fun in Park City.

Josie entertained us by getting her dress caught on the top of her head and walking around.

As Ian loves to say, "here comes the crazy baby!"

One evening we headed to the Bountiful Fire Department open house and had fun checking out the trucks.

Justin even decided to dress up for the occasion - or we picked him up from work on the way.

Baseball playoffs are in full swing and that also means that one of our favorite pastimes of predicting winners has begun. Rachel is being hilarious about the Twins/Yankee match-up and has delighted in teasing Brady. She has been making funny anti-Yankee signs and putting them up and one afternoon we confiscated Grandma's Yankees bear and dressed him in some more fashionable attire. We headed to one of our favorite fall destinations, Gardner Village, for the Halloween festival. Both kids were so excited to go and Ian kept calling it the "pooky party" (translation: spooky party) and Rachel calls it "Witchy-poo" after her favorite decorations with said name. Here are Grandma and the kids in front of the pumpkin house.

While we were there Ian got a face painting of a dragon and Rachel got a glitter tatoo fairy on her arm. Do you like how Ian is showing off his arm too?

Rachel's favorite this year was this funny hula-hooping witch.

Josie, Josie, Josie. These days this little one is really into everything. At church we cannot keep her away from trying to climb up to the drinking fountains and at home she is pretty much all over the place. Today, she decided to use the piano foot-stool to give us a little concert. At least she's adorable.
