We got Rachel's first school picture back and it made us feel like out little girl was growing up way too quickly. But, never fear, even though she looks adorable all dolled up, the antics are still going strong.

Rachel has been really into writing and performing in little plays (she dictates them to Bridget). The Halloween thriller, "The Haunted Pumpkin Patch," was very well received by the family, so she has decided on making many more. She already has a sign up saying that "The Elf Who Saved Christmas" is coming three days after Thanksgiving. Here she was working on a play with one of her friends (who was busy coloring at the time) being a spooky ghost. Ian and Rachel put up the decorations in preparation for the
playdate.

Josie has decided that having an older sister is pretty great stuff. Lately she has been getting Rachel to do all sorts of things for her. Here she is getting a ride in a wagon while being
serenaded by her puppy's music.

The activity surprisingly has not resulted in any injuries and it has become a sister favorite.

While trail running, Justin came upon a fantastic hike in
Centerville and we all went this past week. It did not
disappoint with a stream, rocks to climb, and lots to see. We will definitely be heading back again.

See, we promise that she is still pretty wild even if she can look that cute in her first school picture.

She is adorable! Tell Justin to get the gun ready! :) And you should definitely post some video footage of the new and upcoming Christmas show!
So much fun. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like fun times! We miss having you across the backyard. We'll have to take a drive south one of these days for a visit.
