We had a fun church party with themed tables. Our table was Lord of the Rings and so we decided to go as super fans. It was a really funny night and Bridget might start randomly sporting the elf ears just because. And while we were going to a church function, those were not scriptures but the Tolkien trilogy accompanied by elfin phrases. We took our super fan costumes seriously!
We also enjoyed our first Governor's Halloween Party at the Capitol. Ian was underwhelmed to meet Governor Herbert and his wife, but they were both really nice and it was good to meet the people Justin is working with now.
On another note, Justin spent the ghoulish holiday writing all day - and we mean from 4 am until 9 pm (with breaks for eating and trick-or-treating of course). Thankfully, his first thesis draft is done! So, we're excited to be progressing on that front too. We hope that everyone had a fun Halloween!

Congratulations on the thesis writing. Now the fun "jumping through final hoops" game. Loved the Halloween costumes.
Ha! I like your super fan costumes, especially the trilogy instead of the triple. That's hilarious. Your kiddos look adorable in their Neverland get-ups.
