Cedar Thanksgiving

Between Grandad's 60th birthday around the corner and Brian being able to visit from New York City with his girlfriend Sandy, we couldn't pass up a Thanksgiving in Cedar City. Dinner was delicious and we had Matt join us for the festivities.

The next day the kids got to on the first sledding trip of the season and they had a fantastic time.
Josie couldn't get enough of the sleds and kept staying on again and again. She probably ended up going around 30 times! Not to shabby for her first time ever.
Grandad, Nana, and Justin were troopers getting everyone up and down the hills.

Rachel took a turn pulling Ian around.
Nana let Ian and Rachel help her with her tree and they had a fantastic time looking at all of her ornaments.
It was a great finished product!
Here's the whole Penny family together.
And here we are with sweet Sandy.
We couldn't make a trip to Cedar City without an excursion to Red Cliffs. The kids never get tired of climbing and exploring the beautiful areas.

And the best part about our southerly trip? Spending time with fun grandparents. We had a great trip (we're pretty sure that is what Rachel is yelling about in this shot).
Bridget also got to go to a fun baby shower for Robyn, but with all of the chatting she forgot to take any pictures of the adorable mother-to-be. It was a really fun visit - thanks everyone for everything!
We also had Josie's 15 month check today and our girl is still very small. She was 17lbs 7 oz (0%), 29 1/2 in for height (22%), and 46 cm for head (53%). Our doctor is not concerned about her weight because she is a good eater and we're even trying to calorie pack with next step formula in her whole milk. I guess she's just destined to be petite!

Check out Brian's beard! Nice one! I haven't seen Brian since he was in middle school, probably. It would have been fun to see a picture of Robyn; I haven't seen her cute prego-ness. Have a merry Christmas!
