Creativity

We have been enjoying some beautiful spring weather in between the snow storms and are excited for it to be warm all of the time! The kids have been having lots of fun with their new neighborhood friends and it feels like things are getting into a routine around here. We love play-doh and Ian made this robot the other day, which was kind of impressive compared to what is usually produced.

Here's the artist in the shot.
Rachel decided to follow suit.
There is always some sort of adventure happening around here. This day they were on a mission to outer space and they had some lava rock they were changing to power their rocket. It was intense to say the least.
Josie loves hats and was excited to steal Ian's away on one of the sunny days.
One day Rachel and Ian were invited to a dress-up tea party and this is how they got decked out. Ian is the Cat in the Hat and Rachel is a Chinese princess. Rachel really got into April Fool's Day this year and loved trying to joke everyone. Tarantulas were on people's heads, doorbells were ditched, and she had us take this picture of her in Ian's old sling that we sent to aunts and uncles. Ian thought the day was pretty funny too and got a kick out of dying the toilet water blue for Rachel. We took Ian in for a big haircut and he was pretty excited about the whole process. They cut a ton of hair off and he looks a lot bigger.General Conference for our church was this weekend and we had a really nice time watching it together as a family. An added bonus of being together was the treats for "conference bingo". Josie loved her ring pop so much she had to rub it all over her face and feet. Yummy. And we got a fun visit from the St. George Lees for the weekend. Ian and Ethan played together really well and Ian was enthralled with their electronics.

Uncle Brian did believe the broken arm hoax. Rachel is a good actress.
