For Memorial Day weekend we headed south to enjoy the scenery. The weather was pretty bad on Friday so we took in the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point instead. It was a huge hit!
They had a great physics display with so many fun interactive exhibits that this was probably our favorite part.
It's also fun to make scary dinosaur faces in front of skeletons.
And create islands in the sand and water.
Roar!
He's swimming in this picture by the giant turtle.
They were surprised for real when we went around the corner and saw this!
It was really fun to dig in for bones too!
We headed to Zions and enjoyed the beautiful views. We had a few squirrel visitors as well. One unzipped our unattended backpack and opened a sealed bag of rice cakes. The people watching thought it was hilarious so they didn't want to bother us one bit until he'd had a nice snack.
Who wouldn't love eating a snack with this view?
She even convinced Justin to let her climb some big rocks.
Ian joined in the fun on a smaller scale.
They loved driving through the tunnels and seeing Checkerboard Mesa. We also were able to see great friends (why didn't Bridget take pictures!?!) and went to St. George to visit Cory's family. It was a fun little visit to Southern Utah.
