Young Women Update

Bridget has been a counselor in Young Women's for almost a half a year, so it's about time she put some of the fun things she has been up to with the great youth in the ward.
The first Mutual she was in charge of she stole this fun idea from Suzy's ward and had a modesty night where the girls designed dresses out of garbage bags, streamers, and tape.  Unfortunately, more girls wanted to design than model so she ended up in the hot seat with Makayla and Madi designing this beauty.
Cute Maddie, Amanda, and Amber were the other lucky models.
Ian even made an appearance or two at Mutuals while Justin was busy with play rehearsals.
For our Youth Conference this year the theme was "Up" to go along with the Church's youth theme of "Arise and shine forth..."  All of the youth got to go in an airplane ride in a four-passenger airplane and have a flight that went over our homes, the temple, and our ward building.  It was a lot of their first times in an airplane and was very memorable.  Our great Young Men's president, Kelly Dixon, was the pilot for the day.  After airplane/flight games at the church, we hiked up our mountain for a picnic dinner and meeting.  I got to eat with these funny ladies, Anne Jeppesen and Kristen Morris.
Obviously the stories were shocking!
Look at these cute girls (Natalee, Amanda, and Jessie).
When we were getting ready for the meeting Amber pointed out that one of our new Young Women was edging back down the mountain.  Her mom had warned us that "she likes to run away" so we were a tad concerned in this picture.  Luckily pregnant Bridget didn't have to chase her down the mountain.
The whole group - yikes.
Okay, that's better!
