When it's Fall Time

Nothing spectacular has been happening around here, we have just been enjoying cooler weather, changing leaves, and school.
We have been getting tons of tomatoes this year and Josie is quite the little chopping helper when we've been making salsa and spaghetti sauce.
For "Talk Like a Pirate Day" the little ones enjoyed a fun story time at the library.
 Arrgh!
Then we had a fun treasure hunt when Rachel came home.
Also Josie continues to terrify us with her tree climbing skills.  She can now go much higher than this - yikes!
At least she's happy about it!
Ian is seriously project driven.  His latest venture has been "writing and illustrating" his Pokemon book.  He has taken four of his cards a day and we've printed pictures for him to cut out color and copy the essential info down on its' own page.  We're up to over 60 pages and he loves to make sure that Justin gets credit for being his awesome editor.
He is also seriously crazy and shocked us one night with this disturbing underwear display.
Ian's preschool had a fun trip to the pet store and Josie loved checking out the animals...
and the treats while Ian obsessed over his heart's desire.
Of a fish!  He is so proud of his purchase (he saved the $12 for everything he needed) of a beta fish named Lightening Bullet Lee.  He has been meticulously feeding his new friend and we're hoping this guy has a long life so we don't have a depressed boy on our hands.
We have been loving this weather and spend lots of time at the park  Ian loves to get up to the platform this way - we're in training for Ninja Warrior.

We're looking forward to meeting Lightening.
