October Part III

 We had a fun time at the Centerville Pumpkin Walk.

 Josie liked the donut as big as her head.

 Our first Halloween party was the Governor's party at the Capitol.

 It was fun trick or treating through the offices with these other cute kids.

 Rachel had a great Halloween program at her school and was right on the corner for us to watch.

 Josie keeps herself busy with little parties for her "babies" (the animals that pop up in the blue baby toy).

 We headed to a fun storytime at the library and the kids had a blast in the Halloween costume parade.

 The best was that they held hands the whole time - so cute!

We painted some pumpkins and...

 made some "witches brew" (Rachel found the recipe and did it herself - actually pretty good).

 Our cute kids were all ready for trick or treating on a warm Halloween.

 Here they are with Austin, Payton, and two other friends.

 Justin surprised Ian by dressing up with him.

We had some very happy kids.

They made a last stop at our cute neighbor's house.  Ian and Holly were both so excited they had chosen to be the same thing.

 Ian came home with some sweet hat hair.

And they all got way too much candy!

 Rachel categorized hers.

 And the candy-induced silliness produced this sweet ensemble.

 Here's our painted pumpkins the next morning.

 Rachel continues to love to cook.  One day she made some home made peanut butter that was pretty delicious.

 Over fall break we headed to the Aviary with some friends.

 It was such beautiful weather!

 Another day Rachel made us some peanut butter balls.

 Ian wore these sweet suspenders that were Uncle Brian's from when he was a little boy.

 Ian dresses up like a cowboy most days and this day he made his own slingshot.

 We made some personal pizzas.

 The kids did great in the Primary Program.  This pretty girl let me take a picture after the big event.  Ian had already started changing.

 We had a graduation recital for Rachel and she did a great job.  We got home to discover she had worn a shirt and jeans under her dress clothes.  What a goof.

 Ian was excited he got a certificate for his duets.

 Ian is all about being sneaky and one day he hid some secret gear in his pant leg.

 Rachel made the kids these bento-box inspired lunches on a day off.

And she led a Family Home Evening where we made this gratitude turkey.  We had a great low-key Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa's house and we're excited for our baby boy to make his debut this week!
